Responsibilities:

Position Responsibilities

High School Diploma or equivalent o Preferred, but not required: Associates degree or equivalent from a two-year college, technical college, or secretarial certificate, work related experience including at least 1 year in a confidential work environment. Self-directed and motivated with good organizational skills. Proficiency in grammar and punctuation. Ability to communicate effectively with the public. Ability to work with others in a team environment. Ability to multi-task Demonstrated ability to use various computer programs and software. Willingness to learn new programs and software as needed. Ability to understand and perform the function of police report writing. Ability to learn and understand the laws and law enforcement procedures. Ability to deal with stressful situations. Complete and strict adherence to the rules of confidentiality as mandated and outlined by Federal and State law and implemented through the Department’s Code of Conduct.
