Position Responsibilities

Sparta is a busy, growing community located just off the Interstate. Our department is professional, motivated, and holds a strong family atmosphere among our officers. We have a new police department facility with the latest technology. We are focused on progressively training and developing our officers throughout their careers, and supporting them both personally and professionally. Lateral Transfer Program Details:

We offer a lateral transfer program that includes pay and vacation based on years of service. We also offer a hiring bonus of up to $10,000 based on qualifications for lateral transfers.
