Lateral Transfer Program Details:

The Brown Deer Police Department accepts lateral transfers of certified officers. The years of service that a lateral has accumulated through prior sworn experience will place new hires on an accelerated pay scale, vacation scale, and sick time.

WAGES

Prior years of experience will place you in he correlating pay step:

18 months: $68,331.95

2+ years: $74, 533.93

3+ years: $78,326.76

4+ years: $82,117.52

VACATION ALLOWANCE:

Employees will receive recognition equal to the number of years of service as a full time sworn law enforcement officer.

SICK LEAVE:

The employee will receive an advance of 30 days of sick leave after completing 90 days of employment.
