Responsibilities:
The New Richmond Police Department patrol works a 5 on 2 off 2 on 5 off 12 hour rotation. Responsibilities include but are not limited to traffic enforcement, responding to calls for service, investigation of criminal complaints, and enforcing state laws and municipal ordinances. Students currently enrolled in the 720 academy are encouraged to apply. The New Richmond Police Department is a dynamically staffed agency that includes 20 sworn Police Officers, including the Chief of Police, Deputy Chief, 2 Patrol Sergeants, 3 Detectives, K-9 and School Resource Officer. The staff of the New Richmond Police Department is committed to providing excellent service to our community in pursuit of the highest quality of life for our citizens. **First date of application review will be August 8, 2022 at 12pm.
Lateral Transfer Program Details:
Lateral Transfers will be considered based on the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

- Clear and concise speech
- Driver's license
- Eligibility for Wisconsin Law Enforcement Standards Board Certification

- Knowledge and skills in operating computer systems
