Training & Standards Bureau

Nathan is the Compliance Officer for the Training and Standards Bureau. Nathan works closely with the regional field representatives to ensure academy, officer, and agency compliance with Wisconsin State Statute § 165.85, Wisconsin Administrative Code § LES 1-9, and the policies and procedures of the Law Enforcement Standards Board. Nathan maintains and updates the LESB Policy and Procedures Manual and the Academy Director's Manual. Nathan also receives and reviews requests for law enforcement and jail reciprocity, college credit waiver requests, and requests for extensions of the time limits to complete basic officer training, and he makes recommendations on all of these requests to the Law Enforcement Standards Board at the quarterly LESB meetings.
