Responsibilities:
Position Responsibilities
Under the general direction of the Chief of Police, shall work in partnership with the public to prevent criminal activity and provide law enforcement services for the community. Impartially enforces the laws of the State of Wisconsin and the ordinances of the City of Lake Mills. Patrols the City of Lake Mills in an effort to deter criminal activity.
Lateral Transfer Program Details:
Current full-time law enforcement officers may be started at any step of wage scale and vacation schedule, depending on experience.

- Ability to perform essential functions of this position

- Ability to use all standard law enforcement equipment
- Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Clear and concise speech
- Driver's license

- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge and skills in operating computer systems
- No domestic abuse convictions
