Reason for Announcement:
Responsibilities:
Respond to all emergency and non-emergency calls for assistance occurring on campus. Determine the nature and location of the emergency, determine priorities, and direct other Campus Safety Officers or emergency personnel as necessary in accordance with established procedures. Enforce the Student Conduct Code and other University regulations, policies and procedures. Prepare shift, incident and conduct reports as appropriate. Assist in investigating complaints and violations of university policies and procedures. Assist in record keeping in compliance with Campus Crime and Safety Act. Interacts with various offices within the university as well as outside constituents. Perform foot and vehicle patrol of the campus and buildings. Must wear provided uniform and equipment while on duty. Full-time hours: M-F, 2pm-10 or M-Th 2pm-12am.

- Ability to handle several tasks simultaneously
- Ability to perform essential functions of this position
- Ability to possess a firearm
- Ability to use all standard law enforcement equipment
- Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Clear and concise speech
- Driver's license
- Good driving record
- Good physical condition
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge and skills in operating computer systems
- No domestic abuse convictions
- No felony convictions
- Previous experience
- React quickly and effectively to stressful situations
