Responsibilities:
The Fox Valley Metro Police Department is accepting applications for the position of Police Officer. Responsibilities for this position include enforcing the laws and ordinances of the State of Wisconsin and the Villages of Kimberly, and Little Chute Wisconsin in a community-oriented policing environment.
Lateral Transfer Program Details:
New hire / lateral transfer applicants may be granted a starting wage up to $38.81 per hour as well as associated vacation hours based on their past full time Law Enforcement Officer experience and at the discretion of the Chief of Police

- Ability to handle several tasks simultaneously
- Ability to perform essential functions of this position
- Ability to possess a firearm
- Ability to use all standard law enforcement equipment
- Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Clear and concise speech
- Driver's license
- Eligibility for Wisconsin Law Enforcement Standards Board Certification

- Knowledge and skills in operating computer systems
