Responsibilities:
Position Responsibilities
Eligible candidates must be at least 21 years of age and be certified or certifiable in the State of Wisconsin. This position is responsible for performing a variety of law enforcement duties including but not limited to the protection of life and property through the enforcement of laws and ordinances, preventing, detecting, and investigating crimes, maintaining law and order, patrolling and enforcing traffic regulations, generating reports, and testifying in court.
Lateral Transfer Program Details:
Lateral transfer adjustments for vacation and sick time are available for candidates with prior law enforcement experience.

- Clear and concise speech
- Driver's license
- Eligibility for Wisconsin Law Enforcement Standards Board Certification

- Knowledge and skills in operating computer systems
- No felony convictions
