The Village of McFarland has an immediate opening for the Police Department Office Assistant position. The Office Assistant will provide clerical and routine administrative support work for the Police Department. The work involves functioning as a receptionist for the Department; handling of customer money and other personal property; providing customer assistance to callers and visitors; processing confidential and sensitive documents and information; assisting the Office Manager and/or Police Chief with administrative tasks, screening of visitors prior to entry into the Police Department; and executing safety protocols specifically related to the Police environment.

  • Minimum of one (1) to three (3) years responsible administrative or clerical experience.

  • Candidate must possess or be able to obtain a valid Wisconsin drivers’ license, and must not have been convicted of any felony or qualified misdemeanor that would prohibit the applicant from passing a background check to have access to the TIME or NLETS r
