Position Responsibilities

Multiple part-time positions available. Seeking individuals who can work at least 16hrs per month on average. Part-time officers are responsible for performing general law enforcement duties to preserve the peace, protect life and property, and enforce federal, state, and local laws within the community. Responsibilities include proactive patrol, responding to calls for service, conducting investigations, enforcing traffic laws, preparing detailed reports, making arrests when necessary, and providing court testimony. Engage in community-oriented policing, maintain positive relationships with residents and businesses, and work collaboratively with neighboring agencies. This position requires sound judgment, professionalism, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently with limited supervision in a small-town environment. Our department is well-equipped with modern patrol vehicles, updated safety equipment, and current law enforcement technology to support officers in performing their duties safely and effectively. We are committed to providing the tools, training, and resources necessary for professional and proactive policing.

  • Eligibility for Wisconsin Law Enforcement Standards Board Certification
  • Good verbal and written communication skills

  • Previous experience
