Training & Standards Bureau

Primary duty includes working with advisory committees, instructors, and practitioners to develop law enforcement academy and instructor training curricula for the tactical skills (DAAT, Firearms, Tactical Response, ICS, and HAZMAT) . Also helps develop other curriculum and training events for law enforcement around the state as needed. Any questions regarding the tactical skills or use-of-force training should be directed to Director Ron Betley.
