Course Description
This 200-hour training meets the requirement to be eligible for certification by the Wisconsin Law Enforcement Standards Board as a Jail Officer. The curriculum is set by the Wisconsin Department of Justice Training and Standards Bureau and is taught by certified Jail Academy Instructors
Prerequisites
Students must be at least 18 years of age and a US citizen (Required for empoyment). Strudents must possess a valid Wisconsin driver’s license or other such valid operator’s permit recognized by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation Possess a general educational development diploma or be a high school graduate No unpardoned felony conviction
