Course Description
Training in this 200-hour Basic Jail Officer Academy meets the requirements established by the Law Enforcement Standards Board for jail officers to become certifiable in Wisconsin.
Prerequisites
Hired officers must complete appropriate paperwork and be hired by the agency prior to the first day of training. Self-sponsored students must apply to the Jail Academy certificate program and complete all necessary requirements.
