Position Responsibilities
Progressive community policing oriented department seeking entry level officer(s). Patrol the community by vehicle, bike or on foot. General patrol, answer calls for service, assist the community, investigate crimes and accidents, make criminal and traffic arrests. Department has periodic openings such as ERT Team, Drug Task Force, Detective Bureau, SRO. Great community for family, metro communities a short drive for shopping and entertainment. Great schools. 8.25 hour shifts, 3 shift plan, 6-3 schedule.

- Clear and concise speech
- Driver's license
- Eligibility for Wisconsin Law Enforcement Standards Board Certification
- Good driving record
- Good physical condition
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge and skills in operating computer systems
- No domestic abuse convictions
- No felony convictions
- Previous experience
- React quickly and effectively to stressful situations
- U.S. citizen
- Vision correctable to 20/20
