In the past 2 years EVERY full-time officer has attended ALERRT's 2-day active shooter course, and ALERRT's Solo Officer Rapid Deployment course, and Emergency Medical Responder, and Optics for Patrol Rifles, and specialized training tailored to the individual's career (such as Force Science's 2-day 'Force Encounters' course, DOT's 3-day Intoximeter course, instructor updates, DOJ's Threat Assessment course, specialized conferences, etc.). Want to be an instructor? Three of our officers are, and all of them were sent to a Red Dot Pistol Instructor course. In addition to all of the specialized training, we provide normal in-service training, frequent legal update training, an annual paramedic-led TECC refresher, and EMR renewal training.
