Responsibilities:

Position Responsibilities

The Jefferson Police Department is currently seeking motivated, certified police officer candidates to fill Full-Time Patrol Officer vacancies. Work schedule is a 5 day work week with 3 days off every other week and 2 days off on the weeks in between.

Lateral Transfer Program Details:

No entrance test or physical agility testing. Pay rate and vacation time dependent on years of service and experience. Abbreviated Field Training Process. Shortened hiring process with starting date as early as in July.

  • Eligibility for Wisconsin Law Enforcement Standards Board Certification

  • Knowledge and skills in operating computer systems
