Responsibilities:
Position Responsibilities
Receive and process 9-1-1 emergency and non-emergency calls for police, fire, rescue and related services; track call activity into a computer aided dispatch program; monitor and operate a dispatch radio console to keep responders connected and informed.

- Ability to handle several tasks simultaneously

- No felony convictions
- React quickly and effectively to stressful situations
Other Qualifications
- Three years of experience in a clerical/receptionist field or in the police, fire, nursing or EMS field
- Insurance acceptable driver’s license
- TIME System Certification within six months of hire
