Do you like helping people? Would you like to do something that makes a difference in your community? We are looking for you to join the men and women of the Walworth County Sheriff's Office Communications Center. Communications Officers are the first of the first responders. As a Communications Officer you will be the first point of contact for a citizen needing police, fire, or EMS assistance in Walworth County. You will work in a fast-paced team environment to provide mission critical support for first responder units in the field. The work of the Communications Officer is often exciting, and always interesting, but can be interspaced with long periods of inactivity.
Lateral Transfer Program Details:
Lateral consideration will be given to the compensation for those hired with multi-jurisdictional dispatching experience.
